Western Pennsylvania School For The Deaf Takes Home Basketball Tournament Championship

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Western Pennsylvania School For The Deaf Lady Lions took home tournament gold over the weekend.

The School hosted the 43rd annual ESDAA Girls' Basketball tournament on its campus in Edgewood.

Five other schools including the New York School for the Deaf and the American School for the Deaf participated in the tournament.

In a close contest, the Lady Lions beat the Lexington School & Center for the deaf 16-14 to win the championship.
