Washington County Man Dies After Falling Into Pond

VENETIA (KDKA) -- A Washington County man died Saturday after falling into a pond.

According to the Washington County Coroner, it happened on Fox Run Road in Venetia around 4 p.m.

Peter Teris, 20, was seen falling into his family's pond. His caregiver removed him from the pond and tried to revive him.

He was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Teris was reportedly diagnosed with seizure disorder, and his death is believed to be accidental.
