Tractor-Trailer Crashes Over Hillside In Elizabeth Township

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A tractor trailer crashed over a hillside late Thursday night, sending emergency crews and environmental officials to Elizabeth Township.
The crash was reported just after 9:30 p.m. on Douglas Run Road near Nichols Hill Avenue.
At least one person became trapped inside the rig, officials said. That person's condition has not been released.
Allegheny County officials said Hazmat teams were also called in due to a fuel spill.

According to the Tribune Review, about 4,800 gallons of an unknown substance got into the Allegheny River.
