Study: Child Care Costs Rival Some College Tuitions
Playtime and naps are getting more expensive.
A new study found that in 23 states, it's now more expensive to send a 4-year-old to pre-school or daycare than it is to send an 18-year-old to college.
You can rest a little easier knowing Pennsylvania is not one of those states.
The annual cost of infant care in Pennsylvania is $2,000 less than in-state tuition for 4-year public college
According to federal standards, only 27 percent of families can afford infant care.
