2 Injured In Strip District Crash

STRIP DISTRICT (KDKA) -- Two people were injured in a crash in the Strip District on Sunday.

It happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 16th Street.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, a driver ran a red light, causing a two-vehicle crash.

Two people were sent to a local hospital in stable condition with minor to moderate injuries.

The driver who ran the red light was cited. That person was not injured.

Part of Liberty Avenue was shut down for about 30 minutes while crews cleared debris from the road.
