PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have fired offensive line coach Jack Bicknell, Jr., the team announced Friday.

In a press release, the team said it will begin searching for his replacement in the upcoming weeks.

"I have decided to go in a different direction with respect to the coaching of our offensive line," Head Coach Mike Tomlin said. "I want to thank Jack for his contributions during the 2013 season, and I wish him well in the future."

Bicknell, Jr. joined the Steelers prior to the 2013 season.
