Route 48 Closed For Hours In Elizabeth Township Due To Downed Tree

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A section of State Route 48 was closed for almost 12 hours Saturday due to a downed tree.

The roadway shut down around 9 a.m. from Mansfield Road in Lincoln Borough to Fey Road in Elizabeth Township.

It didn't reopen until just before 8 p.m.
