Rivers Casino Hit With Computer Virus, Personal Info Not Compromised

PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh was hit by a computer virus, but officials say it didn't compromise the personal information of its customers.

Spokeswoman Emily Adams says in a statement that the virus was detected Sunday night.

The statement says the virus was "successfully isolated" and that operations were returning to normal Monday, without being specific. The statement also says the virus did not impact gambling at the casino, though players told news reporters that several kiosks inside the casino were shut down for a time.

Casino officials haven't said what operations were disrupted by the virus, or how it was discovered.
