Report: Steelers Looking For Return Specialist
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have been quiet like usual when it comes to the opening of the free agent market, having only retained some of their own players.
According to CBS NFL writer Jason la Canfora though, the Steelers are targeting one specific position in free agency.
While the Steelers are generally very quiet in free agency/trades they are quietly exploring options for a returner.

The Steelers drafted rookie running back Dri Archer in the third round of the 2014 NFL draft hoping he could fit their return specialist role, but he was eventually replaced by wide receiver Markus Wheaton on kick returns after poor results.
In the punt return game, the Steelers often relied on Pro Bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown to spark their return game, but are likely looking for a replacement to keep him out of harm's way.
