Pirates Place Anthony Alford On Injured List, Recall Jason Martin

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pirates have placed Anthony Alford on the 45-day injured list and recalled Jason Martin.

Alford was injured on Saturday in the Pirates' game against Cincinnati when he fractured his right elbow.

Martin has appeared in two games for the club this season and has not registered a hit in six plate appearances.
