Cathedral Of Learning Falcon Chick Dies After Flying Into Window

OAKLAND (KDKA) - One of the peregrine falcons born atop the Cathedral of Learning on Pitt's campus is dead.
The male chick was killed after it flew head first into a window of a building on Fifth Avenue in Oakland.
An environmental volunteer with the Allegheny Front says the bird likely confused the reflection of the sky in the window for the real thing.
