Amber Alert Issued For 4-Year-Old Girl Believed To Be In 'Extreme Danger' Canceled After She Was Found Safe

FAIRMONT, W. Va. (KDKA) - A 4-year-old girl once believed to be in "extreme danger" has been found safe.

An Amber Alert was sent out for a missing 4-year-old girl believed to be in "extreme danger." She was recovered safely in Texas and her father was arrested after she was missing for about a week.

WGracelynn Scritchfield went missing from Fairmont, West Virginia and was found at the beginning of August in Pecos, Texas.

The Amber Alert issued said she was believed to be abducted by her biological father, 26-year-old Arlie Edward Hetrick III.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said Hetrick III is driving a Gold Subaru Forester with a WV/1TH163 license plate, and they believed the vehicle was spotted in Arizona.
