House Destroyed by Fire in Rochester

ROCHESTER (KDKA)- Firefighters are looking into the cause of a fire at a house in Beaver County early Wednesday morning.

The fire started around 1:30 a.m. at a home on Adams Street Extension in Rochester.

When crews arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames. Crews had to fight the fire from outside, due to the intense flames.

They were able to contact the homeowner by phone, she was not home at the time of the fire. Several pets may have been inside the home during the fire.

Firefighters are still putting out hot spots at the scene. Afterwards, they plan on searching through the home for pets.

Investigators were called to the scene to search for the cause of the fire.
