DeAngelo Williams Styles His Daughters' Hair In Pantene Ads
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is a man of many talents, and one of those talents turns out to be...styling hair?
The running back stars in a new series of Pantene commercials in which dads do their daughter's hair.
Williams is featured in two "Dad-Do"s.
In the first, he puts a spin on a classic, designing his oldest daughter Rhiya's hair into two "twisted pigtails."
"You're doing a good job, Daddy," she says.
The star Steelers player uses a variety of Pantene products to complete the 'do.
In the second video, William's youngest daughter Reyna is the star.
The adorable little girl and her dad sing "Here we go, Steelers, here we go," as he styles her hair into the "Princess Puff."
Manager Dayne Pasquarelli of Little Snips Hair Salon in Mt. Lebanon offers a favorable critique.
"I thought he did great. His connection with his daughter was fantastic. He was hands on."
The videos by Pantene hair products come with a message: "Daughters who spend quality time with their dads grow up to be stronger women."
"They usually come in on Saturdays," the salon manager says. "We call it Dad Day, because you can look over there and it's usually full of all the dads."
The typical dad wants to get his Saturday errands over with, so he can do what he wants to do.
"They like to sit next to their kid, and have their hair cut as well," Pasquarelli says.
One thing we can all agree on, DeAngelo styles a mean "Dad-Do."
