Liberty Borough Plant Goes Up In Flames

LIBERTY BORO (KDKA) -- Firefighters from more than a dozen communities were called to the scene of a commercial building fire in Liberty Borough Friday night.

It was first reported a little after 8 p.m. in the 3200-block of Youghiogheny River Road.

According to Allegheny County officials, the building houses the Dura-Bond Industries plant.

Firefighters had to use tanker trucks to get water to the scene.

There is major damage to the building, but no injuries have been reported.

Also, officials say all the employees of the business have been accounted for.
