Vehicles Catch Fire Inside Crafton Heights Building

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Several vehicles caught fire inside a building in Crafton Heights Saturday afternoon.

It all started around 5 p.m. in the 1300-block of Crafton Boulevard.

According to fire officials, the vehicles were in a basement where someone had been working on them.

Firefighters say they found heavy smoke coming from the first floor of the building when they arrived on the scene.

"After our investigation, we found that we had multiple vehicles on fire in a basement," said Battalion Chief First District Michael Marks. "The building itself wasn't on fire, it was the vehicles."

No injuries were reported.
