Armed Men Break Into Sheriff's Deputy's Brookline Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after two armed men broke into the home of an Allegheny County Sheriff's deputy in Brookline this afternoon.

The deputy was at work at the time.

However, his two adult sons were at the home on Berkshire Avenue when it happened around 1 p.m.

The intruders reportedly forced them to get on the floor, and threatened to harm their father.

They also demanded guns and money.

It's not known what was taken.
