Missing Alzheimer's Patient From Allegheny Twp. Found

ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police have now located a missing Westmoreland County man who disappeared from his home with the family dog Tuesday morning.

Allegheny Township Police say 76-year-old Ronald George suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

According to officials, George drove away from his home on Tuesday around 8:30 a.m. with his small black and white dog.

He was spotted Tuesday afternoon in Leechburg, but was then not heard from again until Wednesday evening.

George was found safe by state police at a convenience store in Dubois.

He was taken to a local hospital to be checked over by doctors.
