1 Firefighter Hospitalized After Fighting 3-Alarm Fire In Allentown

ALLENTOWN (KDKA) -- One firefighter was hospitalized after fighting a 3-alarm fire in Allentown late Sunday night.

The fire started in an unoccupied home on Millbridge Street around 10 p.m. then spread to one structure next door to the home and another structure behind the home.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control just after 11 p.m.

One resident of the adjacent home was displaced, and one firefighter was sent to the hospital with heat illness.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
