Women-Only Triathlon Coming To Philadelphia In 2018

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Ladies and...ladies! Are you ready?

All all-women triathlon is coming to the City of Brotherly Love this summer.

DelMoSports: Inaugural Women's Philadelphia Triathlon July 8, 2018: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, R by DelMoSports: Elite Events on YouTube

The triathlon will be a nine-mile bike ride, a 3.1-mile run, and a 400-meter swim. It will take place on July 8, 2018. Registration opens on Jan. 17. The price is $99 per individual and $149 for a relay team.

For those who don't like swimming in the open water, the entire swim will be at the John B. Kelly pool.
