Wednesday's Child: Capri

By Larry Kane
Produced by Timothy McLaughlin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Capri is a budding artist.  But instead of a paintbrush and canvas, she's using nail polish and fingernails.

"That's like another way to express art," she says.  "It's like little canvases on your hand.  I don't know how to do animal prints yet, but I do flowers and stuff. And patterns, like Aztec patterns."

She attended beauty school but decided she wants to be an ultrasound technician.

"I wanted to do nursing, but I don't want to do stuff with blood," she admits.  "Plus, I like babies."

Even though she's 20 years old, Capri says, she's still looking for a family.

"I'm still applying for college, but I need a place to come back to -- like everybody needs a place to come back to.  Like, the place to call home.  And I've never had that."
