WATCH: Full Documentary Alleging Ryan Howard PED Use Released
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Al Jazeera documentary, "The Dark Side: Secrets of the Sports Dopers," is set to air Sunday evening and alleges that athletes like Peyton Manning and Phillies slugger Ryan Howard, received PED's.
The claims in the report have been denied by representatives of the players and the players themselves. Al Jazeera stands by the reporting in the documentary and released the full film via YouTube on Sunday ahead of the scheduled airing.
Howard is mentioned in the film at the 35:17 mark and the claims made talk about how PED use impacted some of Howard's top homerun producing seasons with the Phillies.

The Phillies issued the following statement in response to the airing of the report.
"Ryan Howard has vigorously denied the allegations contained in tonight's airing of Al Jazeera's report titled 'The Dark Side.' Ryan has spent his whole career with the Phillies and, during that entire time, has been an extremely well respected member of our team and an outstanding contributor to our community. We will fully cooperate with any investigation conducted by Major League Baseball and will refer all further questions to them concerning the Al Jazeera report."
