2-alarm fire destroys multiple units at Voorhees Township condo complex
VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A 2-alarm fire destroyed several units at a condo complex in Voorhees Township on Thursday night, fire officials said.
The fire started just after 8 p.m. at the complex at 1608 Roberts Way and burned for roughly an hour.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Melissa Joyner owns one of the damaged condos.
She wasn't home at the time, so firefighters had to rescue her dog, who was locked in her cage.
"Speechless, stunned," Joyner said. "I've been here for so long. I'm just speechless. It really hurts."

The Red Cross said it provided emergency financial assistance to a total of seven people who lived in the building.
Humayd Humayun lives in a building next door to the where the fire happened.
"It sucks," Humayun said. "It could've just easily been my condo next door, so I'm thankful."
He said the fire is making him rethink how he protects his condo.
"I was at one of my friend's apartment the other day, and he said he didn't have a fire extinguisher," Humayun said. "That kind of made me realize, God forbid if this happened at my place, and I didn't have a fire extinguisher or something, things could be really bad."
