Uber Delivers Puppy Play Dates, Some To CBS Broadcast Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Talk about a great way to beat the stress at work and support a good cause!

Fifteen minute puppy play dates were in demand Thursday. Using an Uber app, those in need of a little puppy love at work were able to order a visit at the office.

It cost $30 and proceeds went to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

"We had such a great day," says spokeswoman Gillian Kocker. "The demand was very high. Our only wish is that we could meet every person in every office and get to every place that we could. But we got to many, many offices in the area and we're pretty excited. We think they are going to find a lot of homes for these guys."

This wasn't just an effort try to get the puppies a home, but to encourage adoption of all of the PSPCA's animals.

Uber even delivered a few puppies to the CBS Broadcast Center on Spring Garden Street!
