Mother Pushing Her Baby Shot In South Philadelphia; 2 Others Hurt

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after someone shot a mother and two others in broad daylight in South Philadelphia.

Officers say it happened around 4:30 Monday at 18th and Wharton.

Police say a 32-year-old mother was pushing her baby in the stroller when someone shot her in the arm.

Her baby was not hurt.

A 62-year-old woman nearby was also shot multiple times in her right leg.

Authorities say a 40-year-old man was also shot in the leg.

All victims are expected to survive.

Police are unsure if any of the victims were the intended target, or just got caught in the crossfire.
