Happy Birthday Mark Zuckerberg!

The Facebook founder and CEO turns 30 today. It's the second milestone he's celebrating this year as the social network turned 10 in February.

Twitter rolls out new feature

Twitter has introduced a new featured called "mute".

Muting a user on Twitter means their tweets and retweets will no longer be visible in your timeline, and you will no longer receive push or SMS notifications from that user.

Yahoo buys mobile messaging app

Yahoo has acquired the mobile messaging app "Blink." Similar to Snapchat, the app lets users send texts, pictures, and audio that self-destruct.

According to CNET Blink will shut down the app, move to Yahoo's California headquarters and work on the company's smart communication products.
