3-Foot-Tall Snoop Dogg Bobbleheads Stolen From Multiple Grocery Stores In Bucks, Chester Counties

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Giant Snoop Dogg bobbleheads have become the subject of some bizarre thefts in the Philadelphia region. Authorities say there have been three thefts in recent days of 3-foot-tall Snoop Dogg bobbleheads that serve as promotional displays for Corona beer.

Snoop Dogg has been using his chill vibes to promote Corona beer for more than a year, and recently, large bobbleheads of the 49-year-old rapper have been dropping like it's hot from grocery stores.

Police in Chester County now need help identifying this man in a black hat who officers say stole a mini-Snoop from the West Goshen Township Acme back on July 22.

About 10 miles away in Caln Township near Downingtown, police say this man, also wearing a black hat, took the 3-foot Corona beer display from a Giant. That suspect was captured on camera leaving in a red Toyota corolla.

Over in Northampton Township, police need help to identify this man, who was recently seen carting away the lifelike prop right out of an Acme.

"I would not have the guts to do that. I guess people are determined," one Roxborough Acme customer said.

Police haven't yet said if those three incidents could be related. What is known is the Snoop Dogg bobbleheads cannot be bought in stores.

"Why are they stealing them? That's the question I have. For what reason?" another customer said.

Online, the bobbleheads can go for more than $1,000.

"Whatever floats people's boats," one customer said. "I can't imagine spending that much on that."

Those Snoop Dogg bobbleheads have been reported to police with a $300 value.
