Residents Prepare For Another Winter Blast

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - With another storm bearing down on the region, emergency officials urging everyone to get ready.

After widespread power outages last week authorities recommend residents to prepare for this storm, for example, a full tank of gas, cash on hand, a back-up plan in case your power goes out.

Area resident Ernie Destefano says part of his preparations include avoiding what would be his typical commute to Washington, D.C.

"It's gonna be nightmare," he said. "So I think we're kind of used to by now after this winter, so whatever comes we'll deal with it one way or another, I'll just telework from home tomorrow."

Others say they're checking their generators, making sure they have extra gas on hand in case there are more power outages.
