Pulse Of Philly Podcast: Are The Eagles Super Bowl Contenders?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Is it time to talk Super Bowl...contention?

After their big win on Thanksgiving in Dallas, the now NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles improved to 9-3. With four games remaining, including back-to-back home games with the defending champion Seahawks and then the highly anticipated rematch with the Cowboys.

"You have a shot to go 13-3 and get the number one overall seed," Andrew Porter said Friday on his Pulse Of Philly Podcast.

"3-1 [in the final four games] should put you in decent position for a bye," co-host Scott Kret said.

Listen to the Pulse Of Philly Podcast:

"It's the bar talk," Porter said. "Can this team get a first round bye? That would be huge. Can they get the number one overall seed?"

Monday, on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show, the Audio Roadshow Question posed to the fans was: Are the Eagles legitimate Super Bowl contenders now?

About three-fourths of the voters, said yes.
