Publicist: 'Growing Pains' Actor Alan Thicke Dies At Age 69
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — 'Growing Pains' star Alan Thicke has died. CBS News received word of Thicke's death from his publicist on Tuesday.
According to CBS News, a publicist for Robin Thicke confirmed that the actor suffered a heart attack. Thick is survived by his wife Tanya and his three sons Brennan, Carter and singer Robin.

Thicke is best known for his most popular role as Jason Seaver on the 80's sitcom, Growing Pains. He is also known for his ability as a song composer and is credited for work on several sitcom theme songs including "The Facts of Life," and "Diff'rent Strokes."
He recently appeared on the Netflix series "Fuller House." Several actors shared their thoughts and memories of the late Thicke on social media.
