Prosecutors: Man Shot Dead During Dispute At Willingboro House Party

WILLINGBORO, N.J. (CBS/AP) — A dispute at a southern New Jersey house party ended with a man being fatally shot.

But it's still not clear what sparked Saturday night's shooting in Willingboro.

Burlington County prosecutors say the victim, identified only as a man in his early 40s, was shot shortly before 10 p.m. in the street near a Placid Lane home. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No other injuries were reported in the incident. Prosecutors declined to disclose further details on the shooting, including what type of weapon was used.

No arrests have been made.
