Preseason Week 3: Eagles Studs And Duds

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles have now outscored their opponents 115-53 in the preseason and 52-3 in three preseason first quarters.

On Saturday, they smoked the Green Bay Packers 39-26, leading 25-0 after the first quarter and 39-14 after the first half. And Sam Bradford was perfect, literally, completing all 10 of his passes for 121 yards and three touchdowns.

Do I really have to pick three duds?

Duds

3. E.J. Biggers

Biggers is a guy I've been high on all summer long. He's been excellent, but on Saturday night, he struggled. Biggers allowed 7 of 9 completions for 104 yards and a touchdown.

2. Tim Tebow

The Eagles tried two consecutive two-point conversions with Tebow and neither worked. And it was ugly.

1. DeMeco Ryans

To be fair, it was Ryans' first game back since tearing his Achilles on November 2nd, 2014 against the Texans. Having said that, he looked slow and rusty, especially on a 52-yard completion to Packers WR Ty Montgomery.

Studs

3. Kenjon Barner

The dude just keeps making plays. You can add a 50-yard catch and run to his two punt return touchdowns now.

2. Jordan Matthews

Matthews looks unguardable, all of the sudden. He's looking at 80-plus catches this season.

1. Sam Bradford

He was perfect: 10-10, 121 yards, three touchdowns.

He was accurate.

And it was gorgeous to see.
