Police Investigating Roxborough Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a robbery which happened early Monday morning in Roxborough.

A 50-year-old man told police he was sleeping inside his home in the 400 block of Domino Lane, when he was awakened by someone tapping on his head. When he looked up, a gunman was standing over him, pointing a gun at him. Three other men were also in the home.

The gunman asked where the money was, and threatened the homeowner's seven-year-old son. The homeowner gave the gunman an envelope with $2000 in it. The intruders also took two cell phones.

The homeowner was tied up and the intruders left the home. The victim eventually freed himself and called 9-1-1. Police say the intruders got into the house through a living room window.
