Phillies Equipment Truck Arrives In Clearwater

CLEARWATER, F.L., (CBS) -- THE TRUCK HAS ARRIVED!

The Phillies equipment truck completed the long trip from Philadelphia to Clearwater, FL ahead of 2016 Spring Training. The truck arrived on Valentine's Day and for fans who love America's Pastime, spring training marks the beginning of a long and beautiful year.

Upon arrival, the Phillies staff was assisted in unloading the truck by the mayor of Clearwater, George Cretekos.

Pitchers and catchers are set to report to Clearwater on February 18.

The list of unloaded items included 2,400 baseballs, 1,200 baseball bats, 150 pairs of batting gloves, 25 sets of golf clubs and of course, one Phillie Phanatic hot dog launcher.
