Philadelphia Man Sentenced In Rape Case

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia man was sentenced to 22-to-44 years in prison on Monday, after being convicted for a rape he committed near Rittenhouse Square in 2014.

28-year-old Milton Garcia pleaded no-contest in November to charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, kidnapping, and burglary.

"Milton Garcia does not belong on the streets and, as a result of today's sentencing, he won't be anymore," said District Attorney Seth Williams on Monday.
