Tractor-Trailer Hauling Newspapers Overturns In King Of Prussia

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) -- A tractor-trailer hauling newspapers overturned early Thursday morning, blocking a well-traveled ramp in Montgomery County for several hours.

The crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on the ramp from the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway to Route 202 north in King of Prussia.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed the tractor-trailer overturned on its side. The tractor, which had "The New York Times" inscribed on the side, lost its load of what appeared to be thousands of newspapers.

The driver had to be extricated from the cab of the tractor-trailer. He was treated by medical personnel at the scene.

As a result of the crash, the ramp from EB I-76 to Route 202 north was closed for several hours while crews cleaned up the scene.

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
