While You Check Out New Ghostbusters Movie, See 'Ghostheads' Documentary

HADDON HEIGHTS, NJ (CBS) – As 'Ghostbusters Answer the Call' hits theaters this weekend, a locally produced documentary about super fans hits Netflix.

South Jersey producer Tommy Avallone's documentary 'Ghostheads' takes a look at communities of Ghostbusters' fans who regularly suit up with proton packs for gatherings throughout the country.

"With different fandoms and different sort of costume-play you see someone dressed at Batman, or Superman but these guys dress up as their selves but as a Ghostbuster. It's a job," says Avallone.

One such group of Ghostheads is called Ghostbusters New Jersey.

Several dozen members of that group attend community events in costume.

"We do various events, stuff like comicons or any type of promotion and charitable events as well, just try to liven things up a little bit. We always have things for the kids like stickers," says member Adam Botley from Haddon Heights.
