Report: Nerlens Noel 'Very Open' To Being Traded

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It looks like Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel is bracing for a trade.

Noel, who has made his Twitter avatar black and randomly broke his Twitter silence to direct his love for his hometown of Boston, is reportedly "very open" to being traded, according to CSNNE.com.

CSNNE.com also reports that the Celtics have a "high level of interest in Noel."

On June 22nd, Brian Geltzeiler reported that the Celtics were in trade talks with the Sixers for Noel. Six days later, Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo admitted to searching for "better players via trade conversations that we're having."

The Sixers have an abundance of big men with five guys 6'10" or taller: Noel, Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Ben Simmons.

Noel, 22, averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game last season.
