Lost Dr. Seuss Tale Hits The Shelves Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new Dr. Seuss tale has not hit the shelves in quite some time. As of Tuesday, the wait is over.

The newly-discovered "What Pet Should I Get," will be available to readers.

Although Dr. Seuss passed away in 1991, his legacy has endured.

"In the 25 years since he's now been gone, another 450 million books have been sold," Bill Dreyer, the Curator for the Art of Seuss, told CBS News.

The lost book was discovered in a box of Dr. Seuss' belongings.

"What Pet Should I Get," has a cliffhanger ending and leaves readers wondering what pet did they get. The answer to that question may not remain a mystery for very long.

"I understand from Random House that there are more books that will come out of this find," Dreyer told CBS News.
