PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say a high school in Mayfair was under lockdown for a couple hours today after officials got wind of a gun threat.

A student was taken into custody.

It happened at Lincoln High School on Ryan Avenue just after 11 this morning. A 15-year-old sophomore is accused of telling some fellow students that he'd left a gun by the side of the building.

School administrators went into lockdown mode and the campus was soon buzzing with SWAT teams and Homeland Security.

But they didn't stay long. The suspect was quickly arrested inside the school.

No gun was found and the lockdown was lifted by lunchtime.
