Katy Perry Fans Head To South Philadelphia For Two-Night Show

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Katy Perry returns to the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday night for her second of two shows in South Philadelphia.

Last night, thousands of people were in the stands to see the pop star in action.

The 11-time grammy nominated singer has some dedicated fans who were there early, and through the doors as soon as they opened at 6pm.

This group of girls from Washington D.C. each had a letter of Katy Perry's name on their shirts so it spelled the name out when they stood next to each other.

Alice was definitely fired up to see her favorite pop-star. "I sang 'Firework' on stage for the talent show at my old, and I felt something that this was what I wanted to do," she said. "So, I'm really excited."

For the girls' moms, it was a chance to reunite. "We're Navy, we're all Navy families that kind of reunited here. So, Katy Perry brought us all together."

The group says they originally met in Hawaii.
