Is Philadelphia One Of The World's Most Romantic Cities?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Perhaps you've posed under the Love sculpture for a photo, or taken a stroll along Kelly Drive with your significant other, but would you ever refer to Philly as a "romantic" city?

Maybe not. The website Bustle, however, disagrees.

The site recently posted a list of the world's "unexpectedly romantic" cities, and Philadelphia made the cut.

"Areas like Rittenhouse Square and Old City have a quaint feel to them, and during the summer, festivals along the waterfront and at the Ben Franklin Parkway make for beautiful nights out under the stars," Bustle says about the City of Brotherly Love. The article also notes Philly's abundance of historical sites and "amazing food."

In case you were wondering, Paris is not on the list. Other cities Bustle recognizes for underrated romantic potential include Edinburgh, Scotland; Lake Como, Italy; and Galway, Ireland.
