Harbaugh: Mornhinweg's Decision To Throw Late Was 'All-Time Worst Call Ever'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Jordan Hicks picked off Joe Flacco with 6:21 left in the game, giving the Eagles life.

But the question is, holding a 27-17 lead with a 1st-and-10 from the Eagles' 11-yard line, why even throw the ball?

"All-time worst call ever," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said of the decision by Ravens offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg to throw the ball in that situation.

"I'll take responsibility for it. I should have vetoed it right away. I like an aggressive mindset, but that was way too aggressive. It's the worst play call we've had, and it's my fault."

Eagles fans are all too familiar with Mornhinweg's offense, as he was Philadelphia's offensive coordinator from 2006-2012.

Carson Wentz led the Eagles on back-to-back scoring drives, cutting the score to 27-26 Ravens with just four seconds to play. The Eagles elected to go for two and the win, but failed to convert.
