WANTED: Gunman Shoots 2 In Philly Armed Robberies

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—City police are searching for a suspect they say shot two people during two armed robberies over the weekend.

On December 10, 2016, around 1 p.m., police say a gunman opened fire inside the "Double Deli" corner store at 4944 Rosehill Street. Officers found a 63-year-old man shot in the hip.

The victim says that an unknown man entered the store wearing a mask pointing a handgun at him while he was behind the counter demanding money.

A day later, just before 9:30 p.m., police believe the same man entered the Rafael Mini Market located at 5000 Gransback Street pointing a handgun at employees demanding them on the floor.

The suspect then fired one shot at a 56 year-old victim, striking him in the left leg.

After taking the money he fled and was last seen East on Ruscomb Street.

Both victims are expected to survive.

Anyone with any information on the suspect is asked to call 215-686-TIPS
