Fugitive Wanted For 2001 Murder In Tennessee Found Living Under Assumed Name In Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – The FBI says it's arrested a fugitive who has been on the loose for 13 years in Delaware.

Ignacio Constantino, 51, was arrested in Wilmington on Wednesday for a 2001 murder in Morristown, TN. He was apparently living in the 100 block of Simca Lane under the assumed name Victor Castillo.

"This arrest is just one example of what is accomplished by assigning a County Police detective to a force multiplier such as the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. We maintain a solid working relationship with our federal partners in law enforcement and look forward to the continued valued partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as we work together to protect our citizens," said New Castle County Police Colonel E.M. Setting. "The New Castle County Division of Police remains dedicated to the citizens and visitors of our county. We will work tirelessly to maintain the safety of our communities and rid them of violent crime."

Constantino was taken into custody without incident by the joint efforts of the Chester County PA Criminal Investigations Division, the FBI Newtown Square Resident Agency, the New Castle County Police Department and the United States Marshals Service.
