Facebook Introduces 'Scrapbooks' Photo Feature

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (CBS) – Facebook is once again taking something old-school and trying to make it easier.

A new option on the social media website allows you to tag and organize your photos then display them on one specialized page.

Sound familiar?

The feature is called "Scrapbooks" and it will display all images with a given tag on one specialized photo page. That page will feature a cover photo and profile picture.

Users can find the new feature under the "Family and Relationships" section of their Facebook profile.

Facebook says it ran a "small survey" for parents who frequently share photos of their children on the site and that those parents told them they would love to have a feature that allowed them to organize all the photos of their children in one spot.

"We're excited to bring you this feature as early as possible, hear your feedback and continue building it together," the social media site says on its Newsroom page.
