Fire Forces Closure Of Macy's At Exton Square Mall

EXTON, Pa. (CBS) -- Crews battled a fire at the Macy's at Exton Square Mall on Tuesday afternoon. East Brandywine Fire Company firefighters were called to the area around 12:45 p.m.

Engine 49-2 and Ladder 49 are currently on scene at Exton Square Mall as part of the working fire assignment. Crews had a fire in the warehouse area of Macy's. Fire is now under control

The fire broke out in the department store's warehouse area.

The fire was placed under control.

The mall reopened at 2:30 p.m. but Macy's will remain closed until further notice.

No injuries were reported.
