I-476 southbound reopens after crash in Nether Providence Township, Pennsylvania

The southbound lanes of I-476 in Nether Providence Township, Pennsylvania, reopened Sunday night after a multi-vehicle crash involving two cars and a pickup truck that was towing a large recreational trailer.

The crash happened between Exit 3 and Exit 1 on the Blue Route just before 6 p.m. and closed the highway for about four hours.

Pennsylvania State Police said a woman was extricated from her car and suffered serious injuries. Four other people suffered minor injuries.

It's unclear what led to the accident.
