Clouds Delaying Some Flights Into Philadelphia International Airport

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Low clouds and foggy conditions are delaying some flights into Philadelphia International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration says inbound flights that haven't taken off yet Friday are being held up by an average of 41 minutes.

Inbound flights already in the air are seeing delays of no more than 15 minutes.

The flight tracking website FlightAware says 49 Philadelphia-bound flights and 50 flights from the city have been delayed as of 10:45 a.m.

The site says 7 Philadelphia-bound flights and 4 outbound flights have been canceled.

The National Weather Service says clouds are as low as 1,000 feet.
