Hillary Clinton Wraps Campaign With Star-Studded Rally In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Thousands turned out for Hillary Clinton's star studded rally in Philadelphia on the eve of the election. Clinton brought some heavy-hitters to Philadelphia in her final appeal to voters.

New Jersey's own Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen performed while interjecting their support for Clinton.

The democratic nominee for the White House was joined by her husband Bill Clinton, her daughter Chelsea Clinton and President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. It was a strong showing of solidarity on Monday night in a battleground state where every vote could mean the difference between winning and losing as the polls in the state of Pennsylvania have tightened a bit in the last few weeks.

"I know she will work her heart out for you," said President Obama.

"I want you to be able to say that you did vote," Clinton said as she took to the microphone. "You voted for an inclusive, big-hearted, open-minded country future that will make sure we all keep moving together because I do believe we are stronger together."

Philadelphia Elections Officials Urge Calm, Confidence Before Tuesday's Vote

Monday night for Clinton was all about energizing her base in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Clinton stayed on message and remained optimistic throughout the night. She did take some jabs at her opponent, Donald Trump and tried to say that American is already great.
